Installation and Adjustment
Choose your starting strap based on your bite. If you have an overbite, start with strap number 1 or 2. If you have a common bite, start with 3 or 4. If you have an underbite, start with strap 5.
Use a pair of scissors to remove the starting strap (as recommended above). Keep the other straps for now.
Insert the hook of the upper molding into the central hole on the strap and turn it 45 degrees.
Ensure the writing on the tensioning strap is visible on the outside.
Proceed in the same manner with the side hooks of the lower molding, thus locking the strap.

Choose your strap based on your dental alignment (underbite, normal bite, or overbite) and desired advancement level. Start with the lowest advancement and increase gradually.
If you have an overbite, start with strap number 1 or 2. If you have a common bite, start with 3 or 4. If you have an underbite, start with strap 5.
Currently, the maximum FDA-approved advancement setting is 6mm. We are in the process of obtaining clearance for an 8mm advancement.
We recommend using each advancement setting for three to five nights before moving to a higher setting to ensure comfort and effectiveness.
Typically, the straps can last over a year. However, factors such as teeth grinding can cause the straps to stretch out sooner.
While the straps can be replaced independently, we recommend replacing the entire device periodically for hygiene reasons and to counteract wear from the acidity in the mouth, which can degrade the mouthguard over time.
