Posiform Anti-Snore
Pillow FAQs
Snoring often results from sleeping on your back. When this happens, your throat's muscles and tongue succumb to gravity, producing that unbearable snoring sound. Our Posiform Pillow is designed to help you sleep on your side, in such a position that your airway remains open throughout the night. This helps you sleep comfortably while snoring less.
You can sleep on either your left or right side with the pillow. The pillow is designed to make side sleeping more comfortable, regardless of which side you choose.
Both the inner and outer covers of your pillow are machine washable for easy maintenance. Wash it on a gentle cycle. It's advisable to air dry the covers to maintain their shape and fabric quality. Alternatively, you can use the low heat setting on your dryer.
Memory foam pillows often feel too firm at first. They break in over time, which makes them softer. If you want to speed up this process, you can gently knead the pillow until it feels more comfortable.
The pillow encourages you to sleep on your side, which is how it reduces snoring. It’ll likely be uncomfortable if you choose to sleep on your back.
The quality memory foam in the Anti-Snore Pillow comes with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty. By adhering to the recommended care instructions, you can extend your pillow's lifespan, enjoying its snore-reducing support for years to come.
Yes, our Posiform Anti-Snore Pillow is made from natural moisture-wicking fabric. The 100% cotton inner and premium velvet bamboo exterior cover both work to combat allergens such as mold, dust mites, and other microbes.
Yes. In fact, it can make CPAP more comfortable for some people by reducing pressure at the back of your throat. However, the upper part of your mask may rub on the forehead support area.
Most standard pillowcases will fit the Posiform Anti-Snore Pillow. We also stock a Bamboo Perfect Fit Pillowcase, which is designed to fit the contours of the pillow. Made from Bamboo fibers, this fabric is extra soft while keeping you cool and sweat-free.
Absolutely. We offer a 120-night policy on our Posiform Pillow, so if you’re not happy with the pillow, you’re welcome to request a refund within 120 days of purchase. For a detailed overview of the return process, kindly refer to our return policy.

Somnofit-S Mouth
Guard+ FAQs
The device uses the principle of mandibular advancement, meaning that it moves your jaw forward ever-so-slightly. This allows for better airflow while you breathe, thus reducing snoring and improving your sleep quality.
The first step is to customize the fit. Once you’ve found the perfect fit, simply wear the mouth guard before bed every night.
We’d recommend wearing the device for one or two hours before bed so that you can get used to the feeling. Thanks to the adjustable straps, you can still drink and talk while wearing the device, so you can continue with your bedtime routine as per normal. Don’t forget to brush your teeth prior to wearing the device.
It may take several days to get used to wearing it. It’s okay if you’re initially only able to wear it for a few hours each night. With some persistence, you’ll get used to it, especially once you notice how easy it is to breathe with the device.
The Somnofit-S is molded using a “boil and bite” method.
Here’s how to customize your fit:
- Fill a saucepan with about 3 inches of water.
- Heat the water 'till the temperature indicator turns from green to red.
- Wait another 15 to 20 seconds to ensure the water reaches the proper temperature. Then turn the heat off. (If it’s not the right temperature, it won’t set properly.)
- Place the upper piece of the Somnofit-S in the water for about 3 minutes.
- Remove the device and shake off excess hot water. Be careful not to burn your mouth.
- Place it in your mouth and put the teethprint plate between the upper and lower parts of the device.
- Bite down.
- With the upper piece of the device still in your mouth, rinse your mouth with some cool water. Let it cool in your mouth for 3 minutes. This sets the shape.
- Repeat the process with the lower part of the Somnofit-S.
- Use the adjustment straps included in the pack to keep it secure and comfortable.
Check out our video taking you through the molding process.
We’d suggest checking the fit to see if it’s correct (see “How do I know if the fit is correct?” below). If it’s incorrect, you can remold it using the same instructions as above.
Here are signs of a great fit:
- The Somnofit-S stays securely in place without slipping.
- There’s no bulk, gagging, or airway obstruction.
- It covers most of the teeth’s enamel when you bite down.
Bite down on your Somnofit-S and look in a mirror. Can you see any of the white enamel on your teeth? If so, your bite was not deep enough.
If your bite isn’t deep enough, you can remold your Somnofit-S to make it comfier. Do this by following the instructions included in your pack. It’s important to heat the water enough when you mold it, or it won’t set properly.
Yes! If you don’t get the fit right the first time, you can remold your Somnofit-S using the same instructions as above. In general, we recommend that the Somnofit-S is only remolded three times.
Here are our tips for remolding the Somnofit-S:
With these adjustments, you should be able to get a deeper imprint and a better fit.
If you've noticed any discomfort due to excess clear molding material after the initial fitting, don't worry — this can sometimes occur after a deep impression. Fortunately, it's easy to make adjustments for a more comfortable fit.
You can safely trim any excess material using a pair of sharp scissors or a utility knife. For finer adjustments, a nail file or small sanding tool can also help smooth out the edges.
If the material feels too firm to cut, you can soften it slightly by warming the device. Follow the first few steps of the molding process from your instruction manual:
- Heat water until the included temperature indicator turns red.
- Let the water sit for 30–60 seconds after reaching temperature—this ensures it's hot but not too hot to affect the fit.
- Place your Somnofit-S in the water briefly to soften the material.
This process should make the clear material pliable enough to trim without affecting your original impression.
The Somnofit-S is FDA-cleared to treat snoring, not sleep apnea. Because mandibular advancement devices aren't always the solution for everyone's sleep apnea, the FDA won't allow us to say we treat it without a prescription.
However, a growing body of clinical evidence demonstrates that mandibular advancement devices (like the Somnofit-S) can effectively treat mild to moderate sleep apnea. In fact, the Somnofit-S was even part of a clinical study that evaluated this.
Many of our customers have also shared their positive experiences using the Somnofit-S. We've even had other folks clear the mouthguard as a suitable treatment option with their doctor. You can check out their testimonials on our website to see what they have to say!
Again, sleep apnea can have different causes. If you're unsure what's causing yours, we recommend consulting with your doctor to find the best solution for your specific needs.
Certain dental crowns and veneers are a contraindication for this device. You can use the Somnofit-S if your crowns or veneers aren’t loose. However, we advise you to inform your dentist that you are wearing the device. If you’ve ever had an Invisalign retainer or sports retainer molded to your teeth with no problems, this device should work just fine also!
Unfortunately, you can’t use the Somnofit-S if you have braces, including Invisalign.
You can use the Somnofit-S after removing your dentures — but only if you have sufficient teeth (see below).
In order to use the Somnofit-S, you’ll need 10 teeth or more on both your upper and lower jaw, including 3 molars or premolars on each side.
If you have missing teeth, but still fit the above criteria, you can use the Somnofit-S.
Bruxism is listed as a contraindication for our mouth guard, as grinding your teeth may break the Somnofit-S, especially in severe cases.
However, many of our customers who grind their teeth at night report that they find the Somnofit-S helpful.
Do bear in mind that the Somnofit-S is designed to stop snoring, and not as a bruxism mouth guard. As such, it’s less durable than most bruxism mouth guards. This means you might have to replace it more often. Please monitor it carefully and replace it immediately if there is any damage.
In general, most people replace their Somnofit-S within a year for hygiene reasons. Depending on how much you grind your teeth, you might have to replace yours every three to six months. To offset the costs, consider signing up for our subscription service. You can also sign up for our mailing list to receive discounts.
We list TMJ as a contraindication for the Somnofit-S, as mouth guards can sometimes worsen symptoms of TMD/TMJ.
However, some customers report that using the Somnofit-S actually improves their TMJ symptoms. If you have TMJ, we advise you to consult with a healthcare provider if you’d like to use the Somnofit-S.
Yes! In fact, your CPAP might feel more comfortable with the Somnofit-S, because the CPAP might require less pressure to keep your airways open.
Our mouthpiece has a flexible frame that easily adjusts to wider or narrower jaws, and it's made with about 40% less material than most competitors — so it fits comfortably even in smaller mouths.
Absolutely. The Somnofit-S works for people with underbites, overbites, and regular/common bite
Our adjustable straps can be chosen according to your jaw’s anatomy. The straps are numbered 1 to 5, with a higher number indicating a tighter fit.
Start with the following straps:
- If you have an overbite, use strap number 1 or 2
- If you have an underbite, use strap number 5
- If you have a common bite, start with strap number 3 or 4
From there, you can adjust the straps as follows:
- If snoring persists, go for a higher number — e.g. increase from strap number 4 to 5
- If the pressure exerted on the jaw is too strong and causes discomfort, opt for a less potent strap such as strap number 3
- Each tension strap should be worn at least three to five nights prior to further increases
You can brush the mouth guard gently with a toothbrush and toothpaste. You can also use a standard denture or mouth guard cleaner, like Pollident.Shake off excess water and allow the device to dry after cleaning. Keep it in its storage case when not in use.
Don’t use harsh chemicals or household cleaners like bleach, ammonia, or mouthwash containing alcohol.
If you’d like to use a UV cleaner, it is generally considered safe for the Somnofit-S. We have not finished evaluating whether or not this is the best cleaning option for the Somnofit-S.
Yes! You can order a replacement on the Somnofit-S Replacement Adjustment Straps page.
Yes, absolutely. If you’re not satisfied with the Somnofit-S, you’re welcome to return it within 120 days of your purchase.
The Somnofit-S lasts longer than similar devices on the market because it’s made from durable, medical-grade polymers. Still, it does need to be replaced every six to 12 months, depending on your unique mouth acids and how much you grind your teeth.
